I have a questions Meltdown and Spectre issue on Intel CPUs. I have seen an update is existing for the latest ESXI hypervisior. What is with the older version is there an update existing?
VMWare has more security patches as only for the latest version. Please have a look on the list below:

- ESXi 5.5 – ESXi550-201709101-SG
- This 5.5 patch only addresses CVE-2017-5715, not CVE-2017-5753
