does anyone have experience with the use of KVM in OpenSuse?
I can not get that to work. On my ProLiant ML350 G6 is neither VM Ware Player nor Xen. I can not get both of them up and running. Now I wanted to try with KVM to build a virtualization.
According to AMD's reference to yet unpublished figures from Mercury Research, it was possible to regain market share in the last quarter of 2017 with Ryzen, Vega and Epyc. Thanks to many new releases, this course will continue in 2018.
I wanted to save my Win Backup on my WD My Cloud 3TB NAS server. Storage space is sufficient.

We are running a "Windows Server 2016" VM inside a "Windows Server 2016" Hyper-V Host. Remote Desktop Session Host is enabled, User CALs installed and the Multi-user login works fine. On the VM I have added the RemoteFX 3D Video Adapter but the multi-user login is not working anymore. The second user login will log out the already logged in user. The RemoteFX Adapter is detected in the VM and seems to working fine with only one user. The VM is a working environment for 5 users, but without a better graphic performance not usable. Is any information existing how to fix this issue, or is an alternative setup existing how to increase the graphics performance on the VM for YouTube and some other applications e.g. Adobe or is this currently not possible with Hyper-V?

Hello, For a new test server I try to find out how much is the difference between both CPUs in power consumption. It is really hard to find any information, I think overall the CPU load should not be so high. Currently installed is an Intel I3-7100 my server with 64 GB ram. But now I need more RAM and therefore I need to change the CPU and Motherboard. Most important point is the power consumption. Could anyone help on my question? Current Setup / consumption: 1.Intel I3-7100 2.Asrock B250 Pro 4 3.4x16 GB DDR4 Crucial 2400 4.2x Seagate 8TB Ironwolf 27/7 HDD 5.1x Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB 6.27/7 Server Power Supply Gold 350 Watt
In Ebay I am looking for an Intel Xeon 2630L V4 for my new home server ESCI or Hyper-V virtualisation project. I have only found one item for 670€ and another one for 170€. The seller says the processor is working 100% with the most DIY desktop motherboards the only exception is with branded servers (“TESTED 100% GUARANTEED WORKING WITH WARRANTY”).
Has anyone experiences with ES samples? Will the processor work as the original one?
