On my Windows Server 2016 I have installed the VMware Workstation 14 Pro. Everything works fine with except for the CPU allocation. I would like to assign 8 vCPUs to guest server running also on Windows. But after booting the guest OS the CPU usage on the guest/host is jumping to 100% without any heavy workload software running on the guest. I have only start Chrome. If I reduce the vCPUs to 4 everything is works fine. Have anyone an idea what’s the issue here?

Hello community,
We are very happy and proud to announce our new project serverforum.org!
In 2010 we started with the German hardware community forum-hardware.de and noticed a high level of discussions in the server business. As this business is different and more complicated than the hardware business, we decided to separate the topics and create a new forum specifically for server.
For the new forum, we also want to take the opportunity to lead it differently than other forums on the market. This means, in English to reach people all over the world and grow the knowledge base even faster, with minimum advertising to keep the forum alive and with the functionality of user improvements in order to optimize the forum based on our community’s needs.
serverforum.org is characterized by the fact that it has only one main sponsor who provides the server capacities and development resources, wherefore we don't need and don’t want to have website advertisements as pop-ups or between the forum categories and posts! Advertisements are only shown in the slider section as banners and nowhere else.
New functionalities, changes and improvements can be announced in the suggestions area by all community users. We will also work on community surveys to figure out what extensions are desired and needed.
We are convinced that we have created a good platform and new home for all IT-Specialists, Server Administrators and all server-interested people.
Let's get started with great people and a good level of discussions.
I have a QNAP TS-1079 Pro NAS server with 10x TB hard disks (Seagate ST4000VN008).
On the NAS are 2 drives / volumes, each with 5 HDD's in RAID6. For each drive, there is a Windows share (SMB 2.0).
If I now connect a share on a Windows Server 2016 for example and try to copy a 3GB file on it, the process is stoping after a view seconds. After that both shares a not longer availabe and accessable from the windows server. But the QNAP GUI works very well.
For testing propose Ihave setup the shares via iSCSI & FTP but same issue herer.
The latest firmware version (4.2.1) is installed on the QNAP. 2 weeks ago, the NAS was already set to factory settings back to eliminate errors in the configuration. But nothing helps.
I am looking for someone who is familiar with vservern and can tell me if I can implement what I have before. The vserver has 50GB 1vcore 2 GBs of RAM and his own ip address and runs with Linux and Plesk on a Ubuntu 16.04 operating system.
I would like to use it to run 2 Wordpress blogs and 1 Joomla page, a TS3 server and occasionally a csgo server for training resons.
